Arc artists residency
2014 - 2019
Strategic development and direction of a residency for artistic research and dialogue, in collaboration with the artists and other experts.
Arc was a residency program dedicated to fostering research and dialogue at the intersection of arts and society, providing a warm and welcoming environment that empowered participants. Through various residency formats, artists collaborated with experts from diverse fields, broadening their investigative horizons and forging innovative partnerships beyond traditional artistic boundaries.
Over four years, Arc continually reinvented itself by critically examining the role the art institution, both internally and externally. This process involved challenging established values, experimenting with new ways of collaboration, and questioning the broader socio-cultural ecosystem. A growing community of shareholders—including artists, thinkers, and makers who returned in different roles—actively contributed to questioning the institution from within. This commitment to 'reinventing the residency' was deeply embedded in the organization's daily practices, ensuring that Arc remained a dynamic and responsive space for artistic and societal exploration.
